Stage 51 is both a Drama School and Casting Agency catering for
children and young adults from 4 – 19 years. The Drama School
focuses on developing youth’s confidence, creativity and
communication skills. The classes include structured work, such as
preparing for the Leinster School of Music and Drama’s examinations,
and creative, free-flow work, such as in-class improvisation and
role play.
Enrolment in the Casting Agency is free for all those in the Drama School and has been extremely successful, with students featuring in numerous advertisements, films and TV work.

Meet Kathryn
KATHRYN COFFEY L.L.S.M.D, L.G.S.M.D. Kathryn is the founder and
director of Stage 51 Drama School and Casting Agency. She trained
with The Brendan Smith Academy and holds licentiate teaching
and acting diplomas from the Leinster School of Music and Drama
and the Guild Hall School of Music and Drama. She is an examiner
with the Leinster School and has adjudicated numerous feiseanna
throughout Ireland. As part of her drama school, she runs a
casting agency and has worked as an acting coach on several
films including ‘Gangs of New York’ with Martin Scorcese.
Kathryn enjoys sharing her knowledge of over 30 years’ experience teaching students from ages 4 to 22 years by giving workshops and masterclasses to drama students and teachers alike. CASTING AGENCY
Stage 51 Casting Agency has been extremely successful
throughout the years, with students playing the young Leonardo
DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Lily Collins and Christina Noble, to name
but a few. Numerous students feature in commercials, TV series,
film shorts and voice-overs – always a most enjoyable
experience!
